Chill, classy, clean, fresh and delicious pizza place. Came here on a Thursday because we tried the weekend and it was SO busy. Still popping on a Thursday but not too busy. The food was great in all! At first my wife and I were both underwhelmed. The simplicity of the ingredients and spices almost made it seem bland..? But after 1 slice it began to pick up and I must say we both appreciated the way the pizza picks up as you eat it. It almost helps you taste each ingredient on its own and given its very fresh, it makes for a wonderful meal. The this crust was so soft on the inside and still crisp on the outside. The flavor of the dough was delicious as well! The whole vibe here is great! We showed up in casual clothing while most people here were dressed nice and it still felt relaxed and comfortable. They only have a soda fountain which is okay but some specialty drinks would be a nice addition. The service was nice. I still tipped even though there’s not a lot of interaction between employees. You also tip before you order your food. The lighting and ambiance is mellow, dark and chill. Definitely worth trying and my wife and I will be back when it gets just a little warmer so we can eat outside! Side note, they have a cute little pizza matching game to play while you wait, they come in cool little pizza boxes up in the front. They also have boxes in the front I just pack your own food up which is convenient.

All around one of our favorite spots to eat out. Amazing food and best service. We love it here! Make sure you also try their treats over at Setties

We chose the Bambino on a Friday night with a live musician singing why we ate out in the courtyard. The atmosphere was fantastic with small tables and picnic style benches. There was a beautiful color mural on the wall and we ate as the sun set. Their pizza and salads were very good. We can’t wait to return.

Bambino’s in Midvale is like if The Sandlot Movie turned into a pizza dream, with extra cheese and zero adult supervision. The slices are so good, even The Beast would trade his beloved baseball for a bite. I came for nostalgia, stayed because I couldn’t move after eating 47 of their garlic knots... It’s the only place where quoting, “You’re killin’ me, Smalls!” while shoving pizza in your face is totally normal. 10/10 would slide into home base for another slice. If you don’t tip the waiter, I’ve heard rumors that they’ll have The Beast chase you outta the restaurant, didn’t test the theory though and tipped graciously just to be safe!

I mean this with all sincerity, best pizza in Utah hands down. Crispy, fresh, and excellent flavors. The pistachio macaron was unbelievable. Will be back often.

LOVE The Bambino! Their Mortazza sandwich is the best menu item! They only serve their sandwiches until 4pm so make sure to go in before then to get one. My dog loves snagging some of the mortadella :) I have also gotten some of their pizzas which are delicious as well! And of course can’t go without one of their macaron ice cream sandwiches!!

Ashely at the counter was very nice and welcoming. This pizza is hands down the best I’ve had thus far since moving to UTAH! Tried it for the first time yesterday and came back again today! The dinning room reminds me of NewYork old school pizza shops, it’s very cozy. Will be back!

I always leave my reviews based on the food. That’s why we go, right? So let’s start there. Ordered the Margherita and a cheese pizza arugula salad. The salad was outstanding. The lemon vinegar dressing along with the pine nuts and fresh parm were a perfect combo. I could have had just the salad and walked away happy. I’ve read other reviews of soggy crust. Not this time. The crust was thin with just the right amount of firmness and crunch to it. No flop. Sauce was perfect. Fresh basil. Excellent. The plain cheese was also great. Really gives you a sense for how good the sauce and crust are. Excellent on both accounts. We were there on Prom night so the service was slow. That’s ok. Totally get it and the young lady who brought out our food was very apologetic. I have to assess my stars based on that experience tho. I doubt it’s the norm.... Atmosphere was cool. Spacious place. They have done a nice job with decor and mixing modern with nostalgia. Impressed. The only con is it was a free for all when it came to getting a table. It’s self seating. Again, prom night made it tough but I’m imagining it is like this on any busy night. Having people come to your table and ask how much longer you will be a couple times is a buzz kill on the atmosphere. Will go again. Overall it’s a solid 5 for the food and that is what really matters.
